RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Science Liquidation, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://www.scienceliquidation.com (the “Site”). This Return and Refund Policy (the “Policy”) governs returns, refunds, and exchanges of products purchased through the Site.

1. General Policy – Sales Are Final All products offered for sale on the Site are sold on an “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS” basis, subject only to the limited exceptions expressly set forth in this Policy or on the applicable individual product listing. Unless otherwise explicitly stated on the specific product page by Science Liquidation or the applicable seller, no returns, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, or credits will be accepted or issued for any reason, including but not limited to change of mind, buyer error, incompatibility, or buyer’s remorse.

2. Limited Functional Performance Exception Notwithstanding Section 1 above, we offer a limited return or refund remedy in the following circumstances only: If a product that is advertised as powered/electronic equipment fails to power on upon delivery, or materially fails to perform in accordance with the specific functional state or specifications expressly described in the product listing (the “Advertised Condition”), Buyer must notify us in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of delivery (the “Notification Period”).

Such notice must include:

  • The order number;
  • Photographs or other reasonable evidence of the alleged non-conformity; and
  • A detailed description of how the product fails to meet the Advertised Condition.

Upon timely receipt of such notice and supporting documentation, we will review the claim. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that the product does not conform to the Advertised Condition and the non-conformity is not the result of misuse, alteration, improper installation, shipping damage after acceptance, or normal wear and tear, we may, at our option: (a) authorize a return for a refund of the purchase price (excluding original shipping fees and any restocking fees, if applicable); (b) offer a replacement (subject to availability); or (c) issue a credit.

This limited remedy constitutes Buyer’s sole and exclusive recourse for any non-conformity with the Advertised Condition. Any claim not submitted within the Notification Period is deemed waived.

3. Exclusions from the Limited Exception The limited functional performance exception in Section 2 does not apply to:

  • Cosmetic imperfections, scratches, dents, or other non-functional attributes (which are common in surplus, liquidation, overstock, or clearance inventory);
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Issues arising from Buyer’s testing, installation, use, or modification of the product;
  • Products where the product listing expressly disclaims functionality, states “untested,” “for parts only,” or uses similar limiting language;
  • Buyer’s failure to follow manufacturer specifications or industry standards; or
  • Any matter not explicitly represented in the product listing’s description of functional performance or power-on capability.

4. Shipping Damage If a product arrives with visible damage attributable to carrier transit, Buyer must notify us immediately upon receipt (and in any event within seven (7) calendar days) and provide photographs of the damaged packaging and product. We will coordinate with the carrier and/or seller as appropriate. Failure to provide timely notice may result in denial of any claim related to shipping damage.

5. Inspection and Acceptance Buyer is responsible for inspecting all products promptly upon receipt. Acceptance (including partial use or failure to timely report non-conformity as required herein) constitutes waiver of any claim that the product does not conform to the Advertised Condition or was damaged in transit.

6. No Implied Warranties Except as expressly provided in this Policy or unless otherwise stated in the individual product listing (including any express warranty provided or referenced therein by Science Liquidation or the applicable seller), all products are sold without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. Science Liquidation disclaims all such warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any warranty coverage, if offered, is solely as described on the specific product listing and is at the discretion of the seller or Science Liquidation; no other warranties are created by this Policy, oral statements, course of dealing, or otherwise.

7. Policy Modifications We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs that transaction. Continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
